Vol. 1 vaguely waterstained at the beginning, vol. 2 with only the endpaper waterstained; both vols. with occ. foxing/ tanning. Paper on the boards rubbed, leather sl. dry with consequent defects such as chips and small tears. Still a good, untrimmed set, with bookplate of pharmacists M. & C. Wyffels to inside of both back boards. This copy is bound with 3 of 4 part titles printed in black (dated 1742, 1743 and 1744), while the message to the binder states that these should be removed and replaced with titles printed in red and black (both dated 1745). This explains the existence of various "editions", which really concern only one edition. (total 2)
