Amst., N. van Ravesteyn, 1651. 40 p. Large folio. Contemp. vellum w. mor. letterpieces on spine, 30 double-p. engr. plates. The fine series depicts the long funeral procession of stadtholder Frederick Henry, Prince of Orange (1584-1647), starting in The Hague end ending in Delft, w. the names of the participants engr. in the plates.

Plate 2 carefully restored in lower blank margin, occas. smaller internal and external imperfections. A desirable copy, from the well-known extensive library of Ferdinand Caspar Koch (1873-1957), w. his bookplate on first free endpaper. Also w. armorial bookplate of George John Carnegie (1843-1891), 9th earl of Northesk on upper pastedown. Very rare complete copy. Landwehr, Splendid Ceremonies, 114.
