Harris, 1771, 2 parts w. continuous pagination in 1 vol., (2),148; (4),(151-255) p., each part w. engr. title, very finely bound in orig. full gilt red mor., both covers with central green medallion with giltlettered "JHS" (Jesus Hominum Salvator), within gilt border and w. flowers in corners, gilt spine w. 3 compartments, a.e.g., 4.7 x 3.5 x 1.7 cm.
Some rubbing. A very fine copy, in the original binding, of which we found a number of sl. differently decorated variants (known in several different colours).The first edition of Harris' miniature bible and the first appearance of this binding style on a miniature Bible, see Adomeit B18. Apparently no copies in NCC.
