All in German, on cards 12 x 14.7 cm, and w. the printed address of Mengelberg, Amsterdam, Van Eeghenstraat 107, 4 dated 1917-1930 and in the orig. envelopes, of which 3 stamped and addressed to Lanz, Museumplein 9. Prof. dr. Otto Lanz (1865-1935), of Swiss origin, was a rich and very important Italian art collector, who was appointed professor of surgery at the University of Amsterdam, where he lived until his death. -and 7 picture postcards w. photogr. portraits of Mengelberg, incl. 3 stamped and addressed cards, one w. "Hartelijk gefeliciteerd 17/3 1903" (almost certainly by Mengelberg) in pen on front, a letter in pen by Prof. Dr Paul Schubring in stamped addressed envelope to Lanz, 4 orig. photographs, some newspaper clippings etc.
