Offset colour print, 42 x 59.4 cm, with artist and publisher's information on verso. Published and printed by Steendrukkerij de Jong & Co in Hilversum, in an edition of 3000. The poster is inspired by images from Pitt's hand-made animated film in progress 'Asparagus', which took 4 years to complete. It ran for two years alongside David Lynch's 'Eraserhead' on the midnight movie circuit in the late 1970s.

Suzan Pitt (1943-2019) was an American filmmaker and painter best known for her surreal and sexually charged animated shorts, including Asparagus (1979). She had a show at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam at the time this print was made. In excellent condition.
