Silkver, Ø2/8 cm, weight ca. 5.5 gr., recto w. portrait of William of Orange on a pedestal topped by a smoking vase w. a view of Vlissingen in the background, below the text "Eben Haezer" and above the text "Ex Decreto Concilii/ Civilis Belli Cudi Curaverunt./ A.D. VI Apr. MDCCLXXII", verso w. the personifications of Freedom, Violence and Superstition with the text "Sponte et Feliciter D. 6 Apr. 1572", monogrammed "TvB", Theodoor van Berckel (1708-1770). -and a silver "strooipenning" by N. van Swinderen on occasion of the inauguration of Willem IV as Marquess of Vlissingen and Veere, 1751 (distributed among the citizens by Willem IV himself from the townhall in Veere).
