Small folio, 19th-century half deerskin red with black binding. White leather title title label with gilt stamping. An extra leaf on blue paper with notes in hw., var. names and dates and name prev. owner is bound along before the title. Title with printer's mark in woodcut.

Johannes Glandorp was a German humanist and linguist. The book can be read as a "who-is-who" of Roman history, with digressions to and by classic Roman and Greek authors. A number of family trees is included after the index. Rare.
