Entirely loose-leafed (lacks tie) and two maps (no. 17 and 18, Indonesia and Java) have been framed; the title page lacks a strip in the middle. Cover loose and frayed and minor other defects. Maps in unfolded condition. A digitised copy from the fifth edition available online has a different title page and is half this copy's size (all maps of that copy with middle fold).
