[Peepshows] (Religious scene)

Peepshow consisting of 6 hand-coloured, engraved panels by C.P. Maj, each 7.5 x 9.5 cm., no address but probably Augsburg, M. Engelbrecht, ca. 1780, in later wrapper.

Without the wooden viewing-box (see lot 1742). Slightly soiled and the layers of the panels loosening, else good. With another similar peepshow of a castle garden of the same size (lacks 1 panel and else same defects as the former) (total 2).
