[Concentration and transit camps] Archive consisting of 19 original items,

from the war years but also from shortly after the war.

Contains: I. Paper envelope for personal jewellery of Buchenwald concentration camp, with in pen the name Jan van Hees and date of birth "25.5.19" and the indication that he possessed a watch; II. A letter in pencil on pre-printed stationery for the prisoners of Amersfoort concentration camp, from the same J.F. van Hees to his parents, dated 1 February 1942; III. Four proofs of release from Amersfoort concentration camp (1x used); IV. Unused pre-printed stationery for the prisoners of 's Hertogenbosch concentration camp; V. Set of 3 camp currency bills from Westerbork (10, 25 and 50 cents, all issued 1944); VI. A coupon for a free train ticket from Vught to Amsterdam, issued, signed and stamped by the SS Hauptsturmführer of 's Hertogenbosch concentration camp on 14 September 1944; VII. A telegram dated 20.IV.44 with text "= Kom vandaag thuis vertrek 4.50 uit Vught = Zwart +"; VIII. Six post-war typoscripts incl. a very poignant account of 2 A4 leaves by a "jong Joodsch meisje, teruggekeerd uit kamp Auschwitz", to Bureau inlichtingen on 19 May 1945, a list (2x A4) with names of guards of Amersfoort concentration camp either detained or escaped to Germany, partly with their terrible crimes, signed by detective C. van de Beukel and typoscripts concerning victim numbers of Dachau and Neuengamme.
