Printed at J Goffin Fils in Brussels for Les Éditions du Jardin de l'Inutile in Brussels/ Paris/ London, 1920, two volumes, (34); (4) p., with 10 (of 11) pochoir-coloured plates and several pochoir-coloured illustration after Jean Vander Borght, Roger Vander Borght, Maurice Denis, Robert Bonfils and Maurice Verne, loose-leafed as published in the original wrapper, 4to.

Copy printed on "Hollande", signed by brothers Roger and Jean Vander Borght, publishers. The colophon mentions 750 numbered copies having been printed, this copy is unnumbered. Our copy lacks the plate of the bouquet by Edgard Tytgat, but with five original drawings inserted: (1) (Skeletons in a carousel). Drawing on tracing paper in pen and black ink, finished as gouache, by Jean Vander Borght, signed, 14.5 x 11 cm.; (2) (Embrace of man and woman in landscape). Gouache, attributed to Jean Vander Borght, 24 x 18.5 cm.; (3-4) (Harem women). Two drawings in brush and black ink, finished as gouaches and heightened with gold, monogrammed "MD" (Maurice Denis?) or "MV" (Maurice Verne?), 16.5 x 18 and 12.5 x 15 cm.; (5) (Bathing woman). Gouache with the same monogram as the previous two, 25.5 x 20 cm.
